CME SEMINARS CPEP continues its tradition of expanding its educational services through individualized and small group, skills focused continuing medical education seminars. These seminars were requested by hospitals, peer review organizations, managed care organizations, and malpractice insurers familiar with the CPEP approach to physician competence and performance issues. In most cases, the organization asked that CPEP assist a physician with a specific skill such as patient care documentation or communications. CPEP developed these courses with a strong point of differentiation when compared to traditional CME. For example, the seminars are small groups (as a function of original enrollment or through the seminar process) to assure maximum interaction and individual attention. Equally important, the CME opportunities reflect the CPEP model of personalizing the educational experience to assess and proactively address issues relevant to actual clinical practice.
